“Panagia Gorgoepikoos” Volunteer Group

Participation in a volunteer group supporting pregnant women facing difficult social, financial, or personal circumstances, while also supporting motherhood and care for the unborn child.

Through this work, and in collaboration with social and charitable organisations including the “Thesavros Agapis” Charitable Association, financial and practical assistance, free psychological support, and help in securing a safe and supportive environment are provided for the pregnant woman and child. Where needed, information and support are also offered regarding the options available after birth, including the adoption process when this is the woman's own choice.

Collaboration with the Cyprus Refugee Council

Collaboration with the Cyprus Refugee Council to provide psychological support to refugees and migrants, with an emphasis on psychosocial empowerment and addressing the psychological effects that may be associated with forced displacement, migration, adjustment to a new social environment, and adverse living conditions.
